Rule of Thirds - Susan
Grandpa chicken has such an expressive face. It is such an unusual perspective for a chicken picture. He is looking you right in the eye. The subject is successfully placed on one of the vertical rule of thirds lines. Speaking in a critical way, the head especially the eyes would be better placed if they were placed a little lower to the upper horizontal line. The picture has a lot going for it as far as sharpness, exposure and lighting.

Rule of Thirds - Brendan

I photographed this bee because it looked pretty cool on the
macro setting. The Rule of Thirds on this photo is the bee’s body, which is on
the upper line, and the flower’s center, which is on the lower left point on
the grid. I was unable to take more photographs of the bee because he flew off.
I consider this to be one of my best
photos.
